I grew up with my parents listening to Jimmy Buffett all the time. My first CD i bought was Garth Brooks - The Hits when i was like 12...I think I still know the words to all those songs sadly.
I listened to my brothers ACDC Back In Black and was blown away.
Sadly from there (around '98) I got into Korn, Limp Bizkit, Offspring, Green Day in middle school. When I got to high school I realized everybody that likes those bands are dou chebags. Just a school full of dou chebags loving MTV, so I started to listen to anything weird (frank Zappa, dr. hook) and older music that people claimed to be legendary. Today I like to listen all sorts of stuff, but I avoid trance/techno, country, most rap, ska, emo, hardcore, new R&B, adult contemporary stuff, top of the charts stuff, and most punk.
I'm 22 BTW
