Nothing beats
Ash Ra Tempel's S/T release when it comes to Krautrock/Psychedelic/Space rock. Not even Can or Amon Duul comes close for me. It's just two tracks with a total time of 45 mins.

Eloy is also an awesome space-rock album. If there's something that could easily define space-rock, it's this!(ok fine, there are many others too, but this one stands out for me)
I agree with the "psychedelic" tag though...too many of those around now-a-days but rarely what I'm looking for.
