I think it is all in how you look at music. Sure, some of the country songs sound country. But it's called country. However, the genre is one of the widest in sounds out there. Ok. So, I didn't go to school to be a music major but I should have. My point is that, country uses just about all the other genres to its advantage. You have country(classical), country(jazz), country(pop) - See, what I mean?!
Speaking of which, anyone know of any good music schools? I am considering taking classes or returning to school for music. It is my passion. If you know a good school alternative, let me know. Someone suggested Recording Connection? Got any clues here? I'd like a life line, Meredith? LOL
