1. ROB HALFORD - No one has even close to his range. He can rival any opera singer and can shatter glass with his high pitched insanity.

2. RONNIE JAMES DIO - Another phenomenal vocalist who never got the proper credit due to the immense popularity of Ozzy Osbourne.

3. IAN GILLAN - Although many do not consider Deep Purple to be heavy metal, just listen to their 80's albums and you will change your mind.

Honourable mention goes to the vocalist of my favourite band: IRON MAIDEN. Bruce ****inson is a great vocalist, but he cannot compete with the 3 aforementioned Metal Gods.
