I'm not a massive punk fan, I like a few bands but to me it's just a stripped down raw sound where the bands have something to shout about, and they will be heard. Blink-182 have a very poppy production to their albums (after Dude Ranch) and a lot of their lyrics are just toilet humour.

To me they aren't Punk in the slightest and they do deserve the shit they get. Even though I do kinda like 'em..
