I used to be a big 311 fan. Discovered them when the self-titled came out (album cover caught my attention at the store), but had never heard of them prior. Picked up the first two albums soon after and got several of my friends into them, used to play them in my car all the time and had many people ask me what it was. By the time Transistor came out they had definitely hit the mainstream and became kind of a jock band, so I shunned the album prior to even hearing it. A year or so later I gave it a shot, because I did like the song "Beautiful Disaster" quite a bit, and turns out I like the album. After that I stopped listening to them though, their softer route didn't appeal to me at all. Anything I've heard since is just not my thing. But I still like their first 4 albums, I might play one once a year.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
