Brian May is way too low, but my mother and I did get a good laugh at his being #39...as '39 is a Queen song actually written by Brian May.

I was kind of hurt that Trey Anastasio was below Joni Mitchell, and that Kurt Cobain was so high on the list.

I was, however, thrilled that Richard Thompson and John Fahey were both in the top 35...although I'd argue that Fahey should have been higher.

I've seen 3 of them live, technically kind of four of them.

I've seen Brian May, Warren Haynes, and Trey Anastasio, within 25 feet of each of these men playing. Mind = blown.

I was also taking a tour of Radio City Music Hall in New York in 2006, and David Gilmour came out to do a sound check while we were in the building. I kept getting escorted out of that part of the building, because I kept sneaking off to watch him. The tour guide definitely hated my guts. I don't see how she could blame me, though.
