satanism is just the other side of the coin of the whole Judeo-Christian thingie, I can deal with it, if you wanna align with Lucifer and think Hell is fun, that's up to you
Honestly there's tons of black metal out there that's not related to any type of religious beliefs. I understand if you're not a fan but don't let the artists beliefs be the only thing that stops you from listening to something. For instance, Fen's lyrics don't express any type beliefs. Bands like Lantlôs, Agalloch (Arguably not black metal, whatever.), Ludicra, Altar of Plagues, and many many other bands. Anyway, sorry for going off topic. Although, I guess you might just be trolling? Either way though this seems to be a belief common among most people who have never explored black metal for whatever reason.

As for this topic, nobody really knows what I listen to. My mom occasionally hears it and thinks it just a bunch of random noise. She thinks the old country I listen to is ok though. So, I don't know. I don't talk about music with anyone really.
