It's not as good as Pinkerton, not many things are.
But The Blue's solid especially for a debut. Some really good tracks here with Buddy Holly and Say it Ain't So being stand outs and later released as singles.
But everything on this album is good. It's compact and to the point, mantels I wish they'd kept in later years.

Definitely in my top five favorite albums, not far behind Pinkerton. It's solid front to back. Say It Ain't So is a classic, and Only In Dreams is an incredible song.

Great album, it's more pop than anything, but that's what Weezer does. Probably my second favorite record by them, of course the best one being Pinkerton.

I have this album, but I think I should give it a LOT more attention, and listen to something else than track 1, 4. 5 and 8. Great review.
