If he could walk ten miles in fifteen minutes that would be pretty impressive.

Haha! Nothing spectacular or impoverished, I'm afraid; I walked about half a mile, I think. In case it rained, my mum always gave me the bus fare, but I prefered walking; there was a baker's on the way that used to sell yesterday's buns at half price, so that's where the bus money was spent.

How about you guys? Were you chauffeured in the family limousine or were you unwittingly sitting across the aisle from Misspoptart on a yellow bus?

I was on a yellow school bus too, but it was before Misspoptart's time, when there was no such thing as a discman and the only time there was music was when it was in the form of a cassette playing in a boombox—always some form of heavy metal.

^ There was a brief fashion for boomboxes in London, but they proved to be more trouble than they were worth, I think.

Spoiler for Lisna's nostalgia overdose:
And this is the exact route I used to take! My school was down a side street to the right at 19 seconds in; my house down a side street to the left at 1:30 seconds in. (The exact location of the baker's is available on request)

Other highlights in this clip include the newspaper shop for whom I used to deliver papers, the hospital where I had my tonsils out, the common (ie. park) where I used to play football, the cinema where I went to see Zulu three times ... my whole childhood was played out up and down that street!

Aw Lisna, thanks for the kind words about my writing, I tend to get a little overhyped about stuff that isn't all that exciting. I'm glad you were entertained. And considering that my high school and hometown are tiny, it would be nothing short of creepy if any of you were the kid who used to sit across from me on the bus... hahaha.

The album is much better and more cohesive than MDNA, but still contains the problem of Madonna releasing her more mature side along with her wild, younger side which I don't feel always mix well.
