It sfould just be made up of MB's most loved artists from each genre. Radiohead, Joy Division, King Crimson, Elliot Smith, Aesop Rock, etc. etc.

I was just listing artists that the majority of MBers enjoy, they could be switched out, those were just examples.

Dylan, Hendrix, Lennon, Sid Vicious, Marvin Gaye, Elvis, Marley (despite what jackhammer thinks), Beethoven, Lemmi for sure, Madonna even etc etc.

Everybody has different ideas of who their choices would be. So why not pick the obvious despite whether or not you're a fan of their music?
