No problem. But I should mention, that after listening to some more Maserati, I'm not sure if I like it as much, but maybe it'll grow on me.

I have heard Neurosis and wasn't blown away TBH.

I think they're great. All of their albums are quite different though - I'd say Eye of the Storm is the most accessible and probably the best. Which one did you hear?

i love all post-rock, but i have never heard anything like godspeed you! black emperor. they're close to flawless, in my mind. dead flag blues is arguably the most amazing piece of music i have ever listened to.

Kemialliset Ystavat's "Kellari Juniversumi" is really neat.

it's also got a cool name.

I don't really like them, I've never been into that "free folk" crap though. I wouldn't call it post-rock either.

they're more like post-finnish-psychadelic-folkish-ambience,

i figure it's worth checking out at least.

I added my post-rock mix to the beginning of the thread but I left the original post too because I mentioned some amazing bands, most of which are featured on the comp. I also merged the 32943 post-rock threads we had.

The thread actually delivers. *stamp of approval*
