Thehomemusician.com is a new website developed for musicians that love to play and perhaps have no other musicians to jam with and are simply getting bored playing alone, maybe you don't have time for a band or want to expand your musical talents into other genres. It is possible on this site to find musicians that you click with and create a whole new band with people you've never actually met. We hope that this site creates a wave of strong, new bands and sounds unlike anyone has ever heard.

Not too long ago any ear could tell an electronic drum. Now, they're sounding pretty damn close to the real thing. But is it your right side that says you're somehow cheating? Any drummer that plays a nice electronic drum set knows they fell in love with it on the first hit. How is it that, on the inside, you feel like a twelve year old kid that just got a go-cart but your face says "yeah, it's ok". You suppress, on different levels, your expression to make it seem like you'd rather play real drums. When in fact, you'd love to sit right there for hours and be left to it. Interesting how we feel about the electronic drums in this day, still. But you have to admit they're freakin' awesome to play. If you have never played an electronic drum set, whether it's because you're against them or you just haven't gotten around to it, just hit it once. I have both acoustic and electronic drum sets in a semi circle. The electronic drum set gets used 10 times more. Acoustic drum sets will never fade. You can't beat it, you can get close but when I let a stick bounce on a drum I know where I'm at. It's a high maintenance piece of machinery that you just love to tune and play. Modern electronic drums are amazing but you can't match the grace and style of an acoustic set. They do compliment each other quite well when used as one big set and then you'd have the best of both worlds. thehomemusician.com

Traditional drums have more of a clean, powerful sound. An electric drum has more of a duller sound. Every instrument I get is an acoustic or traditional because they have a more intense sound. Besides, Traditional drums look way more cooler anyway.

Very interested in your display, I don't know really my level on drums and play a little on an electronic drums kit and I'm going to play again regularly on an acoustic drums in a hire studios premises but although I got the beat almost in place I don't have the chance to roll the drums very very precisely or else I fall off when it's getting more difficult on the displayed drums losing some time at the end of a break too while the cymbals are huge to achieve.

I am enthusiastic about learning all I can about guitar. I live in a small town and it is hard to find people to talk to about it. A lot of people like to play, but not enough to sit and play with you or talk musically. Metal is new to me, I used to write folk type songs up until about 2009 and became more interested in this.
