John is so ridiculously underrated it's not funny. For anyone who hasn't given him a deep listen yet, I really reccomend you to.

Have a listen to Mist to see some of his guitar talent, I'm learning it at the moment. Heaps hard, but heaps worth it.

I'm a big fan, Grand National is a superb album which really shows him evolving sonically. I wouldn't call him underrated Blain, he's very big in Australia.

Company Sin, Mist, Thou Shall Not Steal, Used to Get High, Caroline are my favourite songs.

Can't say I'm a fan of his brand of roots-pop, and with regards to dreds...they are gone now. He cut them off last year.
