One for Fenix.

pretty good stuff, there are so many bands that you could easily compare these guys too, but in all, not too bad. Bet they would put on a good bar show.

Not many gigs due to the guitarist living in Sweden.
Although they are trying to get out to the U.S.

I hear the phrase irish band and I think of Flogging Molly and then I think of going deaf.

Irish people should just stick to alcohol and fighting.
I hate to say something like that but Irish bands suck.

Ya I always think of FM and Dropkick Murphies(but I think thats cause of their name), but those bands aren't really Irish.

Westlife and Boyzone.

One of my best friends is from Galway and she goes on about how good the Irish are at music. Judging by most of the evidence, this isn't true. There are only a few good ones I could suggest from memory.

The Pogues and Damien Rice (not a band, but hey). Van Morrison (not a band, but good all the same) and ASH are also good if you're including the Northern Irish.

The Cranberries are ok too, although they're probably easier to remember here for sounding very Irish rather than being good.

Ash is an Irish band?
Guys that made the CD 1977?
Well I guess I just learned somthing new today.

And the Cranberries are just tolerable. Nothing to write home about.

I'm suprised no one's mentioned U2 yet.
