"how are you unsure about a push mower... its the opposite of a riding lawn mower..

It made the vision in my head so much nicer.. of Randy...."
Something traumatizing happen involving a riding lawn mower? With all his money he probably has a multi-thousand dollar fueled one. I believe, as the story was told to me about 13 yrs ago that he was actually riding it and it had a steering wheel. How did you know? Someone else seen it? lol

I like the banjos bc they have surround sound.

Um, WHAT? I'm more open minded about music genres than you could ever imagine to be. I decided to stand up for you bc, frankly you seemed rattled by anyone opposing it.

Y'all are the ones that don't get what Country Rock is. There are two sub genres of music called Country Rock. One is a Rock sub genre while the other is a Country sub genre. They are not one and the same as y'all are treating it.

Start this video at about the 4:05 mark.

Well than all I can say is that the Country Rock/Rock sub-genre was 18 years ahead of the Country Rock/Country sub-genre.

I would say that the Country Rock (Rock sub genre) dates back to around '66. Now the Country Rock (Country sub genre), I'd say can trace it roots to the Rockabilly era.

Elvis and Johnny Cash both started in Rockabilly. Johnny Cash went on to do mostly Country. Elvis did some Country but was known to do songs in Rock, Pop, Gospel and other genres as well. Elvis is known more as Pop singer and Cash as a outlaw Country singer. It's almost parallels the Eagles/Dwight Yoakam Country Rock debate.

This is what country music does best IMO. Before she was ruined by the big Nashville machine, a very very young Dolly Parton wrote this beautiful song about her unforgettable night in 1972 in one of my favorite little cities, Eugene, Oregon, where she was a very sick young lady but decided to play anyway. Of course Nashville didn't release it for decades until Dolly, to her credit, insisted it be included in a box set.

"I stayed in my little room in the bus and cried while Porter and the band went on and did the shows without me. In Eugene, Oregon, I decided that I had to get up and get on stage that night. I was so weak that it took me all afternoon to get ready."

"I went out on stage, informed the audience that I was sick and asked them to please forgive my weakness. They totally supported me, they loved me and gave me my first standing ovation — actually two. I got one after I finished my song ‘Coat of Many Colors’ and I cried like a baby. I almost couldn’t go back into the next song I was so touched by it.”

"Then I got another standing ovation when I left the stage. I went back a couple of times for encores. I was so touched by their kindness that I went straight to the bus, as sick as I still was, and wrote the song, ‘Eugene, Oregon.’ To this day it is one of my favorite songs and I will remember Eugene, Oregon, for the rest of my life.”
