I so totally know what you mean, I'm way less likely to like something if someone with a similar taste dumps on in prior to listening to it. It does show some potential, I like the guy's voice and there's all kinds of country-folky-indie-rock goings-on...maybe it's just not what I'm looking for at the mo...:\
