Default RNB singers going to Country music

what can you say about other genre artists who are trying their luck in making country music? i.e Beyonce and Jessica Simpsons

Well, country music has become very popular in the US and also in European countries. Shania Twain releases her albums here and in Europe with 2 separate covers for the album. Scandenavia has become a hot spot for country artist as well. Who knows why? Go figure. I sing country and R&B.

if they can pull it off it doesn't matter what genre they started off in first. Even country singers today...they'll sing a country version of one song then sing a pop version of the song for the radio

yeah but it also depends if the artist is good which im trying to get across. but you're right, if they are capable of doing it and make it sound good, than let them go for it. but they should never ruin a good song. which most do.

well.. i think versatile singers with versatile voices are capable of going to country music.. they may also try remaking some country songs.. then let the music lovers decide...

Tim Mcgraw and Nelly doing Over and Over was actually pretty catchy, much as it pains me to admit.
