Thumbs up Original music from India

Indian music has inspired many a artist down in the west. The common norm that comes is that with the sound of Veena,Sitar and tabla. Whereas the fact is there is a lot more to Indian music than that,Afterall greats like ' the Beatles' have used the sound of Sitar.
I am an Indian artist myself. Here's my work.

"How can you have any pudding if you don´t eat your meat?"

For me, in a lot of songs, the pudding is the instrumental break, and the singing is the tedious-but-you-have-to-eat-it meat. If you want to know what your getting in this thirteen minute track, it´s about half and half: 6 mins of ok singing, 7 mins of sweet instrumental, from the band that did for Bamako what the Beatles did for Liverpool:

Is experimental country music a thing? I'd love to hear some.

Chadbourne has his moments but it's mostly in his collaborations. His solo stuff didn't do much for me but honestly I haven't checked out much of it. Any albums I should check out?

Was listening to some country in the truck lately, and this tune caught my ear a bit, particularly the fantastic bend in the intro, and through out the tune:

Then, I was playing it at work and someone mentioned this band, and they're not half bad:

Gonna check out their album later on.
