This is the only J-Pop artist I know.

B.O.A.

Edit: I did some quick research and she's actually Korean but still a good song anyways.

I dunno either - had a craze about J-Pop in the late 90s and grabbed every AvexTrax comp there is (some have track duplication)

I look at songs rather than albums mainly. But Shoko Nakagawa's (aka Shokotan) Big☆Bang album is quite consistent.

She isn't just a singer she started out as a gravure idol, then obsessively has updated a personal blog (over a billion hits by 2008), became a singer in 06, she has become a major TV personality and presenter of programs, has done voice acting for anime as well as normal acting in other things, even directed a small film. She is known for being very eccentric and cute. She is a very good illustrator being a huge fan of anime and is a famous cosplayer (dresses up as anime characters, though other characters as well). She likes classic Japanese pop and her idol is Seiko.

???? ????????? Powered by Ameba [blog which has cute pictures in it. Her Japanese in it is apparently quite strange and hard for people to understand easily].

Ballad off the album called 'starry pink'....

Cute picture compilation of her to a later song (not on the album)....

No J-Pop week would be complete without Hare Hare Yukai :P
