Johnny Cash is my favorite but I like most of the singers on the list.

Holy ****, what a perfect moment for a necrobump. I don't know George Jones and haven't heard Conway Twitty, but right now it's Willie Nelson by a mile. I love Cash, but Nelson's voice is so intimate and magical that it's like he's speaking into your ear, and from what I've heard of his discography the man is a songwriting god, brilliant performer, and makes albums that are actually albums.
