I’m not and don’t really care if he is but it’s a job interview not a trial. Still, just as well him as the next trump appointee. Ant, good point that Bill Clinton is probably a rapist. He’s also a right wing piece of ****.

There are enough reasons to dislike Kavanaugh based on his record as a judge, without even needing to delve into his personal affairs: https://fee.org/articles/the-constit...-supreme-court

Oh, he is. There's no "probably" about it.

Keira Knightley reveals she had mental breakdown and PTSD

Quote:
She said being followed by paparazzi made leaving the house "a sense of battle" every day.
Up to 20 photographers at a time would follow her and bait her for a reaction.
"If you [female stars] weren't breaking down in front of them, then it was worth their while to make you break down in front of them.
"So suddenly there was a level of violence, it felt, in the air. That is not a thing that anybody would react to well
This is in my news feed. I’ve never seen any of these movies or heard of this woman but for the life of me I don’t know why it’s legal to follow someone around 24/7 just because they’re a successful entertainer. If someone followed me for thirty minutes I’d call 911 and expect action. If the police said well we can’t do anything I would shoot the person. People might say oh no you wouldn’t you’d be afraid of prison or whatever. Believe me. I’d sacrifice everything before I’d let people follow me around all the time. I wouldn’t warn them or ****. I’d act extra nice to get really close act like nothing serious was up and shoot them dead point blank. I know it wouldn’t be worth it. I’m not saying anyone should do that.

Even the filming people **** like for youtube or whatever. The way people are just like we’re in public the law says I can film you. Follow me around with your phone out for any amount of time and see how that works out for you. “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” Bitch, I’m not going to touch you; my ****ing hollow points are touching you. You’re dead, ****er.

She did pass a polygraph test. That's pretty concrete. I don't remember Kaganaugh taking a polygraph test. If I remember right Brett's friend Mark Judge has a little memoir or document bragging about that kind of behavior.

There's definitely more evidence on her side than his. Any undeniable proof that the events happened like a video or something like that isn't going to exist. This happened a long time ago and she never went to the police. But there are more than enough signs to convince me that he did it. Even more evidence that he's a terrible choice for the supreme court.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

He’s Trump’s choice. That alone is enough reason to wish him dead.

Do people really need to have their hate stoked? If you don’t want everyone associated with this administration to drop dead this very second eat some more Hate Wheaties or something.

If people believe Kavanaugh is a rapist (which I don't think he is), then they should prove it. That's all it comes down to.
i) The FBI investigation wasn't thorough, and up to 20 people who could've given corroboration weren't interviewed, which surely makes the conclusion that they found no corroborating evidence meaningless.

ii) Kavanaugh isn't being accused of rape. He has been credably accused of a drunken sexual assault and on a seperate occasion of exposing himself.

iii) McCabe and Rosenstein of the FBI are old pals of Kavanaugh, which partly explains the unbalanced treatment that has been given to this report. Just before the 2016 election, the FBI released to the public their interview notes about the Clinton email scandal "in the interests of transparency." Why can't we see the interview notes of the Kavanaugh case? Why is transparency desirable in one case but not the other? Instead of transparency, there is ONE copy of the BK report, kept under lock and key, that even senators can only look at for one hour at a time. In this era of instant electronic copying, isn't that something of a red flag? That the process and report is only giving the appearance of revealing information, while in effect concealing it?

iii) As [MERIT] points out, there are plenty of other reasons, apart from the sex allegations that indicate Kavanaugh's unsuitability.

iv) 600 members of the American Bar Association have signed a letter saying that BK isn't suitable, and a retired Supreme Court judge has made the same point in a tv interview.

v) BK's performance before the commitee:-

i) raising the irrelevant topic of his daughter's prayers and then weeping about them
ii) claiming to be exhonorated by witnesses who don't remember. It's a glaring failure in a judge if he can't grasp that there is a distinction between "That person doesn't remember" and "That event didn't happen."
iii) evading and ultimately declining to answer certain questions.
iv) ranting about a partisan conspiracy dating back to the Clinton era
v) calling the commitee process "a circus"

In trying to defend his suitability for the Supreme Court he actually exposed just how unsuitable he is. If this was indeed a job interview I wouldn't give the job to someone who was by turns maudline, self-pitying, partisan and belligerent , I'd give the job to a candidate who was polite, cooperative and respectful throughout: Dr. Ford.
