They like to pounce on statements that come off as defensive. If I were Anthony Fantano I'd give that strat a light five out of 10 for reliability. Which puts it about halfway to To Pimp A Butterfly.

Defensiveness is not a sign of something at all. People just genuinely don't like being identified as something they don't identify themselves as.

There's a whole gender pronoun issue going on over that fact.

This is just going to what Elph was saying about most 'libertarians' being re-branded conservatives.

Most people I've met that consider themselves libertarians are pro-border control. Most people I know are also poorly educated.
