People don't care. They just want to eat and procreate and not have to deal with **** they don't think they should have to deal with.

Is there some subtle difference between this and every other time the US has pardoned war criminals? Cause this just sounds like business as usual. Is Trump using the Presidential pardon more high profile than is generally desired?

Nah, there's just breathless reporting about it this time because they know people got their dicks out ready to click on any headline with the t-word. He would get **** on if he did the reasonable thing and publicly executed the war criminals too. It does somewhat align with the convo about excusing immoral actions in order to maintain the status quo, though.
