Yes there ****ing are. Have you seen cheetahs and wolves and great white sharks? Imagining that my species is having such an experience with consciousness while they exist and that my species' history with consciousness is related to their evolution is a ****ing trip.

But hey the Clash exist now so clearly nothing else matters. Just like Metallica says.

I used to be a cheetah guy but now snow leopards are my jam



Which ties into my larger point that nuclear power is currently our most environmentally viable source of energy that Germany is foolish for abandoning.

I don't know why are we exactly talking about cats but I go with the smaller ones, lynx or cougar. More specifically Iberian lynx and Florida panther.
