The new regulations change how the teachers are evaluated or something like that, I'm having a hard time finding anything about why they're protesting. Two teacher's union leaders were also arrested for political reasons under the guise of embezzlement charges (according to the teachers, that is), so I think that was a major thing that set it off too.

Considering how ****ty many of my teachers were in high school I think they could do with firing a few.
