My point was that they're both still hate crimes that threaten the safety of those affected. Having your mosque vandalized isn't exactly a welcome basket.

Take away the bacon and all you have is an argument so far as I can tell. Whereas a burning cross is not only far more intense of a threat, but one that has well over a century of history with murder and violence.

Also you can get arrested in some parts of England for cat calling so it's not really a surprise.
