Eminem's poetry slam style rap in that parking garage was great. It struck me as completely sincere. I like when he says if you support Trump he doesn't want you as a fan. Right on!

Yay!

Quote:
The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center's report, released Friday, found that all income groups on average would get a tax cut next year, meaning they'd have more money after taxes.

But the top 1% (those with total incomes over $730,000) would do far better than everyone else. Their after-tax incomes would rise by about $130,000 an average, or 8.5%.

The top 0.1%, who make north of $5 million a year, would do even better. Their after-tax income would jump 10%.

The bottom 95% of households, by contrast, would get a bump of just 0.5% to 1.2%.

It doesn't sound fair. Let's hold a referendum.

Why I vote 101:

The GOP will most always advance this sort of tax reform. Reagan's 1980s trickle down economics is alive and well over 3 decades later. Even though its failure was obvious well before the end of the 80s.

So I normally vote Dem because they are usually less greedy. And they believe in global warming. And protecting women's rights and access to birth control. And protecting the environment. And worker's rights.....

blah blah blah............... I know:

I mean, yeah, one side is clearly better than the other, but a vote for the better side is still a vote for the status quo. It's not like you can add an essay about the context of your vote on the ballot, so there is essentially no difference between voting for the lesser of two evils and being a stooge for the establishment. Not voting isn't accomplishing anything, but **** it I really don't even care enough to even inconvenience myself by leaving my house at this point. You people just aren't worth it. Maybe I could be doing more to protest and spread the good word or whatever, but I'm simply not an activist and will never care enough about my fellow man to become one. And I doubt such activities would ever really do much good anyway, so **** it.

I'm really just waiting for the bottom to fall out of this country and a true depression to hit that makes it impossible to for the populace to be too comfortable with TV and cheap Walmart products to ignore politics, or a global warming super disaster, or something similar that will galvanize an actual significant portion of the population. Cause without something like that not enough people will ever care enough for any real change to be feasible and America will continue to slowly circle the drain no matter how many college kids you register to vote.
