Isn't it true that children typically heal from incisions a lot faster than adults? Plus their body temperature is a lot different, so maybe that effects their sensation a little bit. I don't know, it seems counterproductive for an adult, who has been thoroughly conditioned to avoid pain at all costs (specifically in the dick region) to suddenly make a decision like that, when it could have been done as a baby with pretty much no trouble at all.

Lil nailed it. Just get it the f*ck out of the way early on. I'd hate my parents to death if they hadn't and I'd had to go through it as an adult.

I'd be upset with my mother if she had me circumcised and there are plenty of other people who would've been or are. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even really like having a penis.
