Watching Pence's press conference at the airport in Texas right now after he toured the disaster areas with the governor.

Damn, it's obvious that Trump gave him marching orders to talk him up - after Trump fell on his face a few days ago by praising everyone (including himself) involved in the recovery efforts as doing "really great" jobs - yet failing to mention the victims, and those suffering, even once. He even turned his visit into a quasi-rally.

“Thank you, everybody. What a crowd! What a turnout!” he exclaimed while smiling broadly.

I think Pence must have praised Trump at least 20 times during his 15 minutes in front of the microphone.
