I hate to say anything positive but killing the weapons of war lobby might actually hurt the repugs

Why the **** were the NRA getting so many arbitrary discounts? Too bad they're not getting them anymore or I'd buy a Glock.

^ Yeah I had no idea that NRA members got a bunch of discounts. As the NRA uses its money to wield political power, it's good to see so many companies backing away from abetting its financial importance. Go hashtag #BoycottNRA !

It's the same as joining AAA or AARP (to use two examples), you pay an annual membership fee and you get perks like discounted hotels, car rentals, insurance, restaurants, vacation packages, theater & movie tickets, etc.

Sad to lump the Gun Lobby in with AAA and AARP but I understand why.

Old white people love guns and hate brown, yellow, and black people.

I think you understood my point but just to clarify, I was just pointing out that large organizations/clubs with annual membership fees, typically offer such perks as some of the benefits of being a card-carrying member. AAA and the AARP were just the first two which came to my mind.
