I haven't lived as long as you. My death wish is strong, it just isn't as ripe as yours so I don't appreciate its beauty.

But yeah I don't have your "will to power". I just want to watch all of this devolve into horror and genocide while I stand amused as our race insists beyond all reason that it is worth saving. I'm pretty sure the entertainment value will be high if nothing else.

Judge Death was kinda right: the crime is life; the sentence is death.

Would the Dems have overturned the ban on elephant trophys?

No but they’re equally complicit in destroying natural habitats for profit. The mass extinctions of marine life, rain forest life, and decimation of the world’s rivers come from the policy of profits before all else which in full force by both parties.

Would the Dems have de-legitimized our US Intelligence agencies?

I’m an anarchist. **** US intelligence agencies.

Would the Dems have condoned the alt-right?

No, they keep their racism more disguised.

Would the Dems have repealed the Clean Power Plan?

Both parties will dig up and burn every ounce of fossil fuel in the earth. No difference.

Would the Dems have actually condoned Police brutality?

Yes.

Would the Dems have poured gasoline on the middle east?

Yes.

Would the Dems have held back on Russian sanctions?

Russian sanctions are stupid. We got trolled in an election on a medium that everybody knows is international. Plus, **** our democracy.

^ As the answers to all Chula's questions are "Probably not" I would've thought you could conceed a bit more, Frownland. The Dems would've made things more comfortable for elephants, the US National Parks, the victims-to-be of gun violence and climate change, the generation that is shouldering his forgot-how-many-trillion dollars déficit, etc, etc.

This I would particularly disagree with. When I get on a bus or go to the dentist, I let the bus driver or dentist have power over me without feeling unthinkably humiliated. I can't drive a bus and I can't run the country, so it seems logical to hand that job over to someone else.
Even though those are false equivalencies it’s still the point where I part ways with almost everyone. It pains me that others actually want to be governed but they do.

See the problem with this attitude is that it makes you accept absolute garbage. What is the difference between the republican and democratic party on climate change? Yeah, they have differences, but are they so great that you can say one will mean the difference between the Earth going tits up and fixing manmade climate change? Of course not, because the democrats aren't really concerned. Just like they're not concerned with any of the other principals they supposedly stand for.

And if you set aside climate change that's just kind of democracy in a nutshell: it's all bull**** that's made to make you feel like this **** is good enough. It's just enough agency to trick you into thinking that you matter.

But climate change is clearly such a big ****ing thing that we should probably just shoot our leaders in the head just to send a message, because we don't have time for this ****.

Every position that every candidate runs for would be better left vacant.

America, even if we were alone in the world, would be a military and environmental apocalypse. We’re irredeemable and must reject ourselves.

Such a bunch of hopeless cynical ****s around this place. You're alive. You live in America. Either put up in some manner or...... and I'm shouting this: SHUT THE **** UP.

Whether you like it or not, someone is going to be president. A party is going to determine how we live. What is legal. What our environment is going to be like in 20 years. Which economic class gets ****ed the most.

Be like Hawk and bitch and moan until you are blue in the face. Ain't going to amount to **** at the end of the day. Just pissing in the wind. Need a towel Hawk?

Or take your tiny slice at making a minor difference in your world and the world of those you care about.

Like I said, make a choice or SHUT THE **** UP. You are wasting oxygen.

if anything the system's failing are because the lack of democracy in the US
That’s a fine, very mainstream, and reasonable position.

I can accept it as a status quo position.

Just to make conversation easier would you please admit you’re not an anarchist?
