I think you're underselling how much your interpretation plays here. Just because you make the conclusion that I'm a republican does not make me one.

I feel like I'm being forced to defend something right-wing I said with little knowledge as to what that is. Nothing thus far has convinced me that I've done so. The closest I can think of was saying that Ted Cruz obviously offers something to the electorate that keeps getting him re-elected and simply casting off that said electorate as a bunch of idiots wasn't exactly a fair conclusion. Not that that something would force me to vote for him either because if there's a right-wing politician that falls on my ****list Cruz is definitely up there.

Other than that, what gives?

Is this really how I sound to you? Even though I've given legitimate examples of real policies I favor that are in stark opposition to them? I sent that post twice now but it seems like all you took from it was the pot smoking thing, something you originally brought up.

No I wasn't. I've said these types of things prior to seeing my therapist. Things about how if you quit trying and blame the responsibility for your own happiness or life on others rather than taking charge you're probably not going to get better. That's not a conservative view. That's not political in any way. It's similar to the Republican "pull yourself up by the boot straps" attitude that doesn't want to admit that some people are born with more opportunity than others, but it's not quite the same.

Actually no.

I started when I first joined in a discussion with Chula and he pegged me the same way.

Then I also shared my own independent thoughts on accountability that wasn't fed to me by my therapist, it was actually a diatribe I went on with my therapist because a lot of what bothers me about the people I've surrounded myself with is the lack of accountability people want to take as they end up trying to shove it on others. Such as, my dad being an abusive piece of **** and never taking responsibility for it by admitting it and getting help. Instead he'd blame it on his job, my mom or on us.

Edit: It's just more proof that you guys like to jump to conclusions based on little things.
