I mean 7 people is a pretty pathetic effort. There are gang members with ****ty aim who kill more than 7 people on accident.

^ Sounds like that pastor took a trip to Southeast Asia.

And I had to look up "telescopic bog" to find out what it is.

And I'm glad that William Shatner is still above ground.

So what does "telescopic bog" mean? I tried googling it but I didn’t find anything.

Sorry, I only have access to the front page image: I can't turn to page 11 to answer your question. Perhaps Psy-Fi can enlighten us:

Yeah, that's the only story I'm prepare to believe. I like old man Shatner because of his reaction to going up into space. Plus the whole thing was a good news story wasn't it: letting the commander of the Starship Enterprise actually be in space for 10 mins.

I can't turn to page 5 either, which is a pity because I'd like to know the playlist details of Hell's Karaoke.

When I looked it up, this is what I came up with...

9 Best Shooting Sticks for Rifles [Bipods, Tripods & Monopods

One of the models is a 'BOG' so I assumed it involved some type of shooting/hunting accident.

But when I checked The Star online, it appears that "telescopic bog" is a term for a type of urinal...

Horror as man crushed to death by falling urinal close to London's Trafalgar Square

Well researched, Psy-Fi ! Thanks.

Your second link is clearly the one we need to understand the "Telescopic Bog" story.
(At one time, "I'm going to the bog." was common, acceptable slang in the UK for "I'm going to the bathroom."
In a similar fashion, "Where's the bog?" was not a particularly unusual question, especially among men or boys. Girls, I think, preferred the more genteel slang, "the loo", which comes from the French L'eau. Did French people ask, "Where's the water?" Probably so, back when these things were new.)

I've heard "loo," "going to the loo," "where's the loo?" but I've never heard "bog."

And I'm British...

Are you really, Psy-Fi ?! I didn't know that, though I remember you talking about your time in London: a pub on the Thames and a song about some London suburbs.

(You may notice that I've edited my post to explain a bit more a bout "the bog" - commonly used in the 60's. Clearly you've been hanging out with politer people than I did )
