I'm not disagreeing with you, it's a moot point anyway. If you're even going to entertain the possibility of a supreme being then associating him with everyday human characteristics is the last thing you want to do. Besides if we could grasp an understanding of the God he'd have nothing on us *-)

The cause of want is discontent. How can a perfect being ever not be content? How could someone who inherently has everything want something?

Where does it say in the Bible that he has everything? He CAN have everything, but that doesn't mean he does.

That there is no God like in the Bible - some invisible old guy with a long white beard who spies on you to make sure you're not masturbating - is simply obvious to me. The judeo-Christian/Islamic god is just as much a piece of mythology as Odin and Zeus. The main difference is that those other gods were cool.

Points for god:

Once, there was nothing and the universe began, it actually started at some point. What triggered it?

After WW1&2 there was a disproportionate number of boys being born.

Against:

None of the religions are logical. And while they can give people peace of mind or encourage good behaviour they just don't make sense.

In conclusion: I'll live by my morals, if there isn't a god then tough for everyone.
