You know what really bugged me about Sarah Palin being against abortion in every case (rape/incest included) was the fact her press release about her daughter said "Respect Bristol's choice to keep her baby." I just didn't understand how she could demand we respect that choice then elect her so she could try and take it away from us. I know it wouldn't happen since its a state issue and Bush/Cheney couldn't pull it away but its more the principle of the matter.

When you're one of the top nations in the world you're going to be attacked by terrorists but throwing your constitution out the window and invading countries based on bullshit reasons isn't the answer no matter what the administration in charge says. Politicians have used 9/11, look at Giuliani, he ran his whole campaign on it. Sorry I'm not going to freak out and believe whatever someone says when they say "9/11!" before their speech.

yes, the world changed after 9/11. and yet it doesn't mean that it's acceptable to blow things out of proportion, perpetuate senseless rumours, and sue the incident as a manipulation tool to sway voters (albeit incredibly weak-minded voters) in the election. which is exactly what the conservative party is doing in this election, and what they did in the last election.

knowing where she's coming from
do you think maybe that was a back-handed insult?

"Please allow my daughter to choose NOT to murder her unborn baby"

how can you say that her views on abortion and sex-ed are justifiable by what happened to her daughter? If anything it should serve as a stark reminder about what would happen if Palin's views on the matter were put into effect. Palin doesnt believe in advocating safe sex and contraception. According to her, the only acceptable form of birth control is abstinence. well, that sure worked out well, what else ya got?

Why do people (republicans) seem to think pro-choice means abortions for everyone? It doesn't, it's exactly what the name says its about choice. Sarah Palin said respect the choice, she didn't say respect the fact my daughter is keeping the baby she said respect the choice. I don't care if its insulting to call that hypocrisy that's what it is.

i suppose the thing that astounds me the most about the liberals is that even with the evidence right in front of their noses

they can't add it up

did you know that even hilary was unable to get a FULL investigation into his background?
and now
i think biden is about fed up with the crap

please don't assume that i think the other side is any better

from an objective standpoint
the news isn't giving us the whole story
and seems determined to lead the campaign the way THEY see fit

as far as i'm concerned
obama fans are nothing but sheep
who can't bother themselves to do any more than listen to and repeat what they hear on their local news

just saying
