That's sad. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

Meh. Emotions are for the weak.

depression is really kicking my ass hardcore.

I feel like **** most of the time, too tired to do anything, caffeine doesn't help.

overwhelming feelings of guilt when I eat.

can't just let myself sleep in on my weekends because I feel like I haven't done anything.

didn't even bother to get dressed/done up at all today.

nothing I usually delight in is doing anything for me emotionally.

I just really feel like garbage for no apparent reason and it's killing me.

Today was pretty ok. Work curbs the terrible dull feeling.

Maybe I should take up writing again.

Do you keep a journal/diary? My dad's dealt with depression all his life, and he says that helps him cope immeasurably. It's also how he honed his writing chops (he's a freelance journalist).

sometimes I scribble little artistic passages down and stuff like that but I don't write nearly as much as I did when I was your age.

I was a fucking genius.

I've got that depression that clicks on and off

One minute I'll feel like I can conquer the world, then I'll just want to curl up into a ball and die

Well, it's better than it used to be, when it was on all the time

But it still sucks
