Disregarding any sarcasm, I would assume that the short term memory loss would remain during the duration of its temporary effect regardless of, but sensitive to, its method of administration.
I'm generally unaware of any permananance of short-term memory loss due to Cannabis use though, so actual studies would be nice regarding this.

I'm sure there have been a number of studies on that subject...

No sarcasm. Also, didn't mean permanent, perhaps "persists" was the wrong word.

I know a different story but the last time I told it no one wanted to believe it, so I guess I won't boter trying again.
Eitherway, there's always the risk of addiction.
So I'm not really willing to try any drugs

I don't want to start this again, s_k, but there are no documented cased of overdosing on Cannibus unless it was laced with something you can overdose on. Addiction is much more debatable.

It's also possible to be harmed if your substance is laced with something more potent, if you don't know who you're getting it from.

You can't get addicted to hallucinogens.

That's the kind of attitude that perpetuates misconceptions.
But if you were simply trying to be helpful and let me know there have possibly been a number of studies on the subject, please disregard this comment...

I just wonder if people are making the necessary distinctions between threshold and short-term effects, and long-term effects. Shit, I'll be damned if you don't have short-term memory loss while high as fuck. I'd bring that crap back to the dealer since I would remember where he lived.

Seriously though, I don't smoke pot anymore. It has far more to do with me than pot though.

I don't know anything about the subject and was genuinely wondering aloud. I'm sure there have been plenty of groups that wanted concrete evidence about, in one way or the other, cannabis' effect on memory. And I'm sure at least some of these groups have published their results, even if they did say "Weed doesn't affect your memory LOL WE WIN LEGALIZE IT"
