I'm not in the business of pretending that bad information is ok because I don't want to hurt feelings. I don't feel its necessary to uphold the status quo with regard to conventional wisdom. People have a right to their opinion, but if you're not going to research a damned thing (not you, but the royal you) and just respond with raw emotion then expect to be met with a harder reality.

Is saying "god bless america" shitting in your face? He's saying good things, in a way that many americans can appreciate. To me, saying "god bless america" is the same as saying "May america succeed" or something along those lines. Even if you don't believe in god, he's hardly shitting in your face.

I'm liking the alleged America-Pakistan teamwork during this operation. The current Pakistani government has redeemed itself big time.

I want to say that this means that there won't be a war in Pakistan, but I don't know how the violent situation there will play out.

I'm not sure of that. It sounds as if Pakistan was informed after the fact because the Administration thought they'd leak it.

Edit: Now I'm hearing it might be a Pakistani helicopter - obviously info is all over the map.
