Maybe Wal-Mart just doesn't make a habit of handing out their security tapes. Maybe the police put a gag order on it because of the investigation. I have no idea and you probably don't either. And why on Earth would Wal-Mart care about how this might reflect on the police? How does that benefit them?

It isn't so much handing it out to any old person, it's the family of the victim and just to show them what exactly happened. The police put a gag order on it because they needed to investigate a clean shooting as what's her face is making the claim that happened?

While I agree on the robbery kid not deserving to be shot. I think that was bogus and will continue to believe that. Because no matter what he did he didn't deserve for that officer to play judge jury and executioner that was crap.

Mr Toy Gun, clean shooting. I understand "plight" of the black man your warped way of thinking my friend. But that was a situation regardless of color where the man should have been blasted. The police did the job they were sworn to do. And the minute we take that right from them to do their job is the minute we are going to have serious problems. Innocent lives lost at the cost of a dick with a gun.

Even if the case was somehow inconceivably proved to be racially motivated, worrying that it would somehow impede police officers from doing their job is pointless. Police brutality is unfortunately common occurrence, whether homocide is involved or not, and doesn't ever change future police conduct. The cop who killed Micheal Brown isn't going to receive corporal punishment, because police never do, thats why the riots continue to happen.

Then take it up with Wal-Mart and quit blaming it on the police.

Did they. I never read that they did. You wouldn't happen to be making that up would you? Link to an article perhaps?

First of all, you're making an assumption about the police's intentions without any compelling reason. I haven't heard you once level any criticism towards the guy who got shot. He was wandering around with what looked like a military grade assault rifle and you're not questioning whether he may have legitimately acted in a way that justified getting shot? The police are the only ones who bear this level of scrutiny from you? Come on, guy.

Secondly, who's "What's her face?"

That's bull****. Anyone walking around with a ****ing assault rifle in public is scary as ****.

Like DJ said, the tape was released to misconstrue the situation.
It was definetely the same day.
Look all I'm saying with this is that it's the word of a cop with 8 years of service versus the word of a kid who robbed a store and assaulted the owner.

I'm not blaming anything on the police. There just isn't enough information known.

I meant to put "If" before that.

He may have or might not have. We don't really have enough information but certain people want to say it was just a clean shooting and nothing shady is going on which I fine hard to believe.

Fair enough. I thought I read otherwise.

I agree, that cop has had no history, and usually these kinds of people are repeat offenders. Still, he shot the kid when he had his hands up, and was yards away.
