No they do understand what a joke is but they cherry pick what they decide what is and isn't a joke.

If it's from someone they like then sure it's a joke but if it's from someone they don't like then it's super serious and in no way a joke at all.

The fact that it was intended as a joke doesn't eliminate the result that someone was offended by it. Your intent is ultimately meaningless.

To the contrary, I think it is quite clear it is a joke. And I doubt anyone thought you were perpetuating those views. HOWEVER, just by solely posting it and allowing everyone else to be exposed to the troll, which is exactly what the lonely nerd wanted.

It is hard to post that without thinking you would get a negative reaction from a group of people that consists of more than just lonely nerds touching their penis 6 times a day.

I'm just saying--the joke part is clear, I just am very tired of basic trolls.

*nothing personal against you.

I'm offended at those who find it offensive, what a vicious cycle. Who are we to police personal thought?

It was clearly posted in jest as an attempt at humor and contrast, and he was simply playing the Devil's advocate (albeit playing it foolishly).

In that case, we clearly deserve the same compensation, as we have both done equal concentric running.

I would not have it any other way.
