also weren't like a large portion of the founding fathers of north america not even christian... I thought most of them were like deists or something

What does it matter? Even if the "founding fathers" were fundamentalists, why should that dictate how the country is run 230 years later?

I mean this is the guy back in the 1980s who criticized films that contained sex and nudity, saying that they were having a negative impact on society......whilst his own films contained excessive violence!!!
