Religious people feel persecuted? Oh that's just precious.

I'm transgendered, and in several states I can get fired for being so, and I wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it. I live in UK, but it doesn't make much difference. It's very difficult for me to hold customer service jobs because of this. Of course they'd never actually say it's because of me being transgendered. They disguise it with other bullshit reasons.

So they can blow it out their ass.

In all fairness, there is absolutely no connection with the day and Jesus Christ. I mean, he wasn't actually born on Christmas. Rather, it was a day decided due to it's closeness to the Roman Winter Solstice.

Which, is a pagan ritual, adopted by the Romans. Seeing as it's a holiday of materialism, it's far more Roman than Christian, anyway.

That's really, really childish. You're upset with them because they won't let you in their club? Cry baby.

what club? I don't follow. Are you saying a Job should be considered a privilege that can be toyed with at some bigoted employers discretion? or did you miss the point of the post?

Club Jesus, Club Christianity.

And, yes, I feel employers should be able to discriminate against any group. That being stated, rare is the person who would sacrifice profit in the name of bigotry - the reason the tranny has trouble getting a job has less to do with employers bigotry than that of the customers. (EDIT) The logic being that people are just as unlikely to sacrifice profit in the name of equality.

then I guess quite a lot of us are just a little special? Sure some people would prefer to have a few extra luxuries in exchange for someone elses rights but I see no sense in advocating it.
