I think part of it is you're treating the east coast like it's one thing and it isn't. There's a big cultural difference between the north and south on this side of the country (we did fight a war against each other after all) and while southern states like Georgia and the Carolinas are indeed conservative, the northeast (which is where most people on the east coast live) is one of the most liberal parts of the country. Since this thread is really about Jodie Foster being a lesbian, it's worth noting that seven of the nine states that have legalized same-sex marriage are on the east coast, while there's only one on the west coast.

Also, Florida is kind of its own thing. It's not really considered part of the east coast and it's neither truly conservative nor truly liberal. It's America's penis, and like a penis it swings.

That makes more sense! But yes, this thread is about Jodie Foster, however it's pretty evident that a thread about a sexual orientation will result in geographical and political discussion. I won't derail the thread anymore though .

There's just not enough attraction there.
dafuk???

Having sex with a guy is by definition the gayest thing you can ever do.

Not just for you, but it seems relevant.

Even if there's no sexual acts involved?

Am I the only one that always suspected she was gay?
I had never heard her come out or anything. I always just assumed she was. Same with Rachael Maddow, who later confirmed my assumption.
