See, that's the thing. I'm so tired of eating it every year even if it's just once per year that I nipped that in the bud. My Thanksgiving tradition consists of me trying out different Italian dishes.

my pumpkin pies are all wobbly and impossible to handle, so I had to shut my oven off and wait for it to cool so I could place them in there carefully

That gif is amazing! It's weird that NZ doesn't have a thanksgiving because Europeans came to settle in NZ nearly 200 years ago.

Do Indians practice thanksgiving? This might be a stupid question but I wonder how that makes them feel?

I think Thanksgiving is generally a Canada and US thing, although we celebrate at different times. In Canada, Thanksgiving is always the second Monday in October.

I sort of feel like Americans should go to the casino on Thanksgiving, sort of like an apology for our anglo-saxon ancestors being super jerks and destroying Native American families and their property.
