You definitely implied that with that comment and its disrespectful that you would imply I am playing the victim as a minority. How dare you...

I'll re-post this, because I find it very interesting, and I'd like to hear what you all make of it:

So far, it seems to drastically reduce the amount of force that officers use. Not only that, but the rate at which citizens sent in complaints was ten times higher before the cameras in the study were implemented.
So, is it a viable option? Do you see any flaws or downsides with it? Do you think that it might have any effects that the study possibly didn't account for? Spill!

There is no point in trying to post serious stimulating topics such as this here because the posters here don't care about this issue because it does not directly affect them. In addition, the posters here are very racist, immature and ignorant.

Personally, I think its a good "start" but there a lot of drawbacks to this as well.

What if the police officer sabotages the camera? What if the camera breaks or gets contaminated and messes up the footage?

I don't think cameras should be in the hands of the officer because that gives them control to manipulate the footage.

You only ever post about topics of white-on-black racism, so you aren't really showing that you care about issues that don't directly affect you either. It's easy to be angry about police brutality when you're black, but where's the hardon against the plight of the Native Americans?

What if it was embedded into their uniform, and fed live to a database that wasn't in their direct control? And if the live stream is ever interrupted, or if anyone tampers with the camera, it's reported and the interruption/alteration is admissible in court as a defense. I'm just throwing out some ideas of how to make it work, so feel free to throw some in as well.
