Yeah, I'd actually have no real problem with repealing the 2nd Amendment. I'm for gun rights, but I don't think it's so relevant an issue that it requires being covered in the Constitution. Seems like something the states can handle themselves.

It's always tickling to me that the same people who make the argument of 'but second amendment, bruh' are also the same people who want to overturn things like Affordable Healthcare Act and ****e like that. By their logic, once something becomes law it is immediately infallible, but when a law comes around that doesn't regard their hobbies it becomes about...I don't know, taxes or how scary communism is or something scary like that?

Those folks do the same thing with the bible.

i agree

i have a friend who quotes like thomas jefferson or one of those old wig wearing guys... who said something like a healthy democracy/country should overthrow their govt every so often to keep them honest

i was like uh... yea, they do that a lot in africa. doesn't seem to be working too well for them

i don't think they necessarily think laws are infallible. more that the constitution is the supreme law of the land, and going against it should require a constitutional amendment. which is sort of a correct understanding of how this country was set up to work, i think.

but yea i honestly think the founding fathers were probably pretty smart for their time

but that time was like 300 years ago, man. they need a better update structure.

we should just get rid of the constitution and supreme court and turn all power over to google, imo.

5-0 as in the police? Yup. For the U.S. Army.

How do you perceive crimes you encounter as an MP differ from a city cop?
