My political sympathies are probably aligned closer to yours than JWB, but there has been a war going on in the Republican party for decades whereby blue collared republicans have been getting their teeth knocked in by Rockefeller Republicans.

The Rockefeller Republicans (arguably Reagan, definitely Bush 1,2 & 3) Open border Presidents who favor free trade. This has been great for the upper class but not the working class.

Blue Collar supporting Republicans, (arguably Nixon, Eisenhower, Ross Perot & Trump) Closed border Presidents that lean more to protectionism.

Right now, as we speak. Wallstreet & the Saudi's are funneling all their money into Jeb Bush's campaign coffers and the only thing standing in their way, for better or worse, is Donald Trump.
