You have to be realistic and the reality of the situation is this. If more people decide that they want to stick to their principles and vote for a third party. It will end up just splitting the vote. This could be a way for Trump to win and I'm not sure why his team isn't like doing some underhanded stuff to push more third party candidates to the forefront. If people are stupid enough to vote for a third party instead of the necessary evil then it splits the votes that Hillary would get and Trump would end up winning with his little bit of votes.

Legitimate or not, in swing states where votes actually matter. A vote is a vote, so what if it's an anti-vote/lesser of two evils vote. Have you looked at the current third party candidates? Can you name them? Maybe you should do the research and look into them yourself.

Yeah, that's true you can't trust polls but even Trump himself is losing faith that he can win the election. He's relying on polls and even made a comment recently about how with him losing in two key states. He knows he has lost the election. Remember this isn't really a popular vote kind of thing. You just have to rely on the electoral college to toss in their votes for each state. So the whole thing about idiots voting blah blah blah. Doesn't even ****ing matter. He's not going to win.
