Those people who have been paying into the system their whole lives are most likely descendants of immigrants.

And if you wanna place blame for illegal immigration you better focus a ton of it on American business owners who are more than willing to take advantage of those people who are willing to work hard for dirt cheap wages, and usually either rock bottom benefits or none at all.

If you drive up the 5 freeway between San Diego and LA you'll go through a ton of farmland that's just off the highway. I've done it at least a dozen times and I've yet to see anyone who didn't look 100% Mexican busting their ass out in the fields.

Considering that the people who feel that are overwhelmingly descendents of immigrants it's certainly hypocritical, whether you think it's xenophobia or not.

Life expectancy is on the same rise it's been at for decades. Wages and standards of living are down because US businesses are shipping jobs overseas and/or cutting their worker expenses to the bone like they learned how to do during the 2007 crash. Trump has garnered the support he has from the base, who would vote for Hitler rather than a democrat, the bible belt who only care about getting rid of abortion, and the rural states who believe the democrats are going to take away their guns. The remainder of his support is angry and afraid Wonder Bread white Americans who want to place all of the blame on "those other people".

See my reply above.

Of course they've been shipping jobs overseas. Bill Clinton was one of the grand engineers in facilitating that process.

Well this is true to, the continued influx of cheap labour into the United States has placed a downward pressure on the wages of unskilled workers, while those in skilled professions have largely been shielded from the economic competition. I am almost certain that this is playing a factor in Trump's overwhelming support amongst white males without college degrees.

When I was referring to life expectancy, I was referring to segments of the working class that are supporting Trump, not the overall population. Did you read the link? Here are some more.

There is nothing noble about demonizing a group of people who fallen into despair because of the lack of job opportunities. How would you like it if you woke up one day and your $25 dollar an hour job at the plant disappeared, and you were competing with thousands of people for a $12 dollar an hour job at Wallmart?

Could you afford property to retire? a car? feed your kids? I'd probably turn to drinking and drugs to if I lost everything.

Dude, because of corporate greed my company has been destroyed. We went from 35 people to 3 in about four months. The owner, his wife, and I have been running what's left of the company for the past year. My wife was one of the people who was laid off from a $50K job she'd been at for 18 years. All she's been able to find is part time for minimum wage because of her age. And she gets no benefits cause they won't let her work more than 25 hours a week so we're paying almost $500 a month for health insurance that she use to get for free through the company.

I had to accept a 30% salary cut in order to help the company stay afloat to keep our lawsuit against a $6 billion dollar megacorp who destroyed us to save a measly 5% of their costs.

I'm averaging taking between $500 to $700 a month out of our retirement account just to make ends meet.

Our sales to megacorp were about $6 million a year. The 5% savings they got by destroying us amounts to about a .005% of increased profits.

If you don't want to accept that most Trump supporters fall into the categories I listed a few posts back fine. But don't try to pass along any guilt on me.

Moderates that arent nazis but are against immigration will jump on trumps wagon, even if they dont agree with (or even percieve) intolerant language - especially since mass immigration has taken a huge toll on Europe over the years.

Wait what? Trump hasn't been running for president for that long, so how is that relevant to the supporters dying faster? That makes no sense.
